Hello, lovelies!

New York Fashion Week is just around the corner. Last year when I was invited to a presentation to NYFW,  I quietly declined, in part because I’m based in Malaysia and the long travel needed to be properly planned. My reason was that I didn’t have enough time to prepare. But to be honest, I think I was also a bit afraid of the unknown as I have never been to NYFW before.  This year, when I received the invitation to another presentation, just a few days before the beginning of the Fashion Week, I told myself that I have to do it now no matter how intimidating it might be or no matter how unprepared I was. As I’m writing this, I am sitting at Dubai International Airport waiting for my connection flight to New York. This year I say yes!

I don’t know what to expect and I will call it an adventure. I’m excited yet a bit worried.  I only hope that everything goes smoothly and I get the opportunity to meet people and experience New Yorkers’ hospitality again. But it has become clear that I can’t let anything hold me back in the pursuit of what set my soul on fire. Wish me good luck and stay tuned!
