Happy Monday everyone!
My previous post of my first in Dubai was a general overview of my trip. In this post, I want to write a review about the J.W. Marriott, the Hotel where we stayed.
The J.W Marriott Hotel is a fairly new hotel which has two towers, the tower A and the tower B. The buildings shape is inspired by a palm tree and each tower is comprised of 72floors. The Hotel was granted the record of the tallest hotel in the World by the Guinness Book of World records. I confess that before we planned this trip, didn’t even know that the World’s tallest hotel even existed! When we arrived at the Hotel, checking in was a breeze and hassle free. What I like the most is how quick our luggage reach our room.
*The Rooms
The rooms are clean and spacious. Marriott Hotel chain is renowned worldwide and they have a hygiene and safety standard.
Our Suite was on the 38 floor and the elevator ride to the 38th floor was a very enjoyable and fast journey. I was very pleased with our suite. I can honestly say that my entire family was happy with the suite as it is very clean and very spacious with a dining table even though we’ve used the dining table during our 7 days stay.
*Bathroom
As for the bathroom, it was very spacious as well. A bathtub was separated from the shower section. The view from the bed was amazing as well. The staff and the service were amazing.
*Dining
They are many dinning options. However during our stay, we enjoyed dinning at La Farine restaurant which has a cool atmosphere. I particularly like the green chairs they use to decorate the restaurant and you can see the chefs cooking live. If you are there, I recommend you try their nicoise salad or but kids love the macaroni and cheese on the menu. The beef sandwich is delicious as well. But they are other restaurants available for late night dining.
*The pool
The pool of the hotel has a direct view of the Iconic Burj Khalifa and it was lovely to spend some afternoon people watching or sipping on a cocktail. The pool was kids friendly as well and it was lovely to watch my daughters play in the pool. There is also a spa available and a hair salon as well!
*The Location
The hotel has a great location and you can reach Burj Khalifa less than 20mn and the fact that the hotel is the tallest hotel in the World takes the whole experience to the next level of excitement. I think anyone would get anyone very excited to experience a stay at the World’s tallest hotel. So I hope this review is helpful to anyone considering to stay at the J.W. Marriott as I highly recommend it!
