Hello loves,

This year, my family has planned to celebrate Christmas and New year in San Francisco  and spend some time with my in-laws and our friends. Unfortunately we missed our flight the other day. The American Embassy issued a new passport for my daughter to replace her expired passport. However her Malaysian visa is in the old passport and according to the Malaysian immigration they need to re-issue the visa for the new passport before we travel. And just like that we missed our flight.  We now have to reschedule everything, make some changes to our plans. Traveling during the holidays can be a bit of a hassle but we have to look at life from a positive angle. I’m still grateful for everything that God does in my life and  I know that regardless of the many hours/days of flight it would be nice to return to the States and see family and friends. Since I wasn’t planning on staying home this holiday season, I didn’t want to make a big production for my Christmas decoration like I did last year. I bought a small tree and I have decorated it in the simplest way, nonetheless  it sure looks festive. The smell of the fresh tree is truly amazing as it fills the entire living room. The spirit of Christmas is all around us and it truly is the most wonderful time of the year!
