It is one thing if you like to blog but to do a fashion blog when you are a mother and not a young skinny thing anymore is total fun! I’m a dreamer who believes that anything is possible, you can do anything you set your mind to! I never wanted to limit myself in life and that’s one thing I hope my girls will take from me. And obviously they are on their way!
Over the week-end they came up with the idea to bake cookies for charity. With one of their friend, the girls were in the kitchen preparing the mixture all by themselves. So I had to help.

The three girls went door to door in the neighborhood and sold the cookies to the neighbors.
They went to a charity just down the road and donated the money to a local charity for children and women.
The manager at the charity gave them a receipt.
Unfortunately it was not a big money, they were only able to collect RM30. But honestly, I think they didn’t know exactly what the amount meant, could buy or could not buy. They just were happy to do a charity work and I was happy that I didn’t have to ask them to do so. I was impressed with them making the decision (to do a simple act of kindness) and more impressed when they said they want to do it again so hopefully they will make enough money next time for the charity.
For young girls to know that they have the power to do anything they set their mind to whether it is for themselves or for the community, the power to take things in hands, the power not to be intimidated, the power to help less fortunate people is a true reward.
